The Challenger 601 Corporate Jet is a design that was engineered by Bill Lear in 1976 and built by Canadair in 1978,which sold out to Bombardier Aerospace in 1986. This unique designed aircraft can hold two crewman and based on how the configuration is set up, it can hold up to 19 passengers. This corporate jet has a walk about cabin and swivel leather recliner seats to accommodate for comfort and ease of communication between corporate passengers.

The 601 is propelled by twin General Electric CF34-3A Turbofan Jet Engines that pushes this well designed corporate jet to a maximum speed 548 miles per hour and a cruising speed of 529 miles per hour, at a climbing rate of 4,450ft per min. The Challenger 601 was also designed with fuel efficiency in mind with a capable travel distance of 3,875 miles on a single tank of fuel, allowing the jet to fly internationally.
